Scott Cammarn Joins LendingTree as Senior Vice President and General Counsel

CHARLOTTE, N.C., May 15, 2006 – Scott Cammarn has joined LendingTree, LLC as senior vice president and general counsel, where he is responsible for all legal matters relating to the company’s multiple brands and businesses, which include LendingTree.com®, LendingTree Loans, LendingTree Settlement Services, LLC, HomeLoanCenter.com®, RealEstate.com® and GetSmart®.

Cammarn comes to LendingTree from Bank of America, where he served in various legal capacities over the past 11 years. Most recently he was associate general counsel, global marketing and global corporate affairs.


Cammarn’s 20-year legal career has spanned all areas of mortgage services compliance and consumer finance law. During his years as both an associate and partner in private practice, he represented a number of nationally-recognized consumer lending institutions. Early in his career he served as law clerk for The Honorable Gerald B. Tjoflat in the US Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.


Cammarn graduated early from The Ohio State University, with high honors, with a degree in business finance. He earned his JD, also with high honors, from Duke University School of Law.
