LendingTree Launches Local College Recruiting Initiative

CHARLOTTE, N.C., December 8, 2006 – LendingTree, LLC announced that it is kicking off an aggressive new local-college recruiting initiative with a special, invitation-only event for local colleges and universities.

Called “Sourcing for Tomorrow’s Leaders,” the event is an important first step in the company’s plan to build and expand its relationship with regional institutions of higher education. The reception will be held today at the company’s headquarters in Ballantyne, and LendingTree expects more than 25 institutions to attend.

LendingTree executives will address the group and discuss both local and national employment trends, as well as sharing the company’s local growth story. Currently, LendingTree employs approximately 700 people in Charlotte, and its overall employment mission is to find, train and develop tomorrow’s business leaders.
