Lawrenceville, Ga., January 29, 2004 – Network Communications, Inc., the parent company of The Real Estate Book® and the world’s largest provider of real estate advertising, and LendingTree, Inc., the leading online lending and realty services exchange, have entered into an agreement to provide LendingTree customers with an additional avenue to browse and find homes for sale online and an additional way for NCI advertisers to get qualified leads.

Consumers who visit both LendingTree.com and RealEstate.com can view homes for sale online from The Real Estate Book, the world’s largest network of real estate magazines. Through this partnership, LendingTree will be able to provide its consumers with homes for sale content and direct access to the listing agents. Consumers will be able to directly access relevant information that can assist them in determining what types of homes and price ranges are best for them, before requesting the assistance of a real estate agent.

“This new alliance will expose our advertiser’s homes to millions of interested and active consumers each month. Our goal, in all our Internet distribution relationships, is to get more prospective homebuyers to look at our homes and to deliver a quality response directly to our advertiser,” said Glenn Goad, Senior Vice President of NCI’s interactive business. “This partnership does just that. We now have magazine exclusivity on two of the Web’s most intuitive real estate sites-RealEstate.com and Homes.com.”

“Our partnership with The Real Estate Book illustrates LendingTree’s dedication to providing consumers with the high-quality services and choices that they have come to expect from LendingTree,” said Tom Reddin, President and Chief Operating Officer of LendingTree, Inc. “The content from The Real Estate Book will further enable LendingTree to provide consumers with a ‘one-stop-shop’ destination for buying, selling, and financing homes. We also anticipate this partnership will prove to be beneficial to our Lender and REALTOR® partners, as consumers will be more educated about properties before they begin their search for a home.”
