The Amex EveryDay® Credit Card from American Express is a $0 annual fee card that primarily benefits grocery shoppers. Cardholders earn 2x points at U.S. supermarkets, on up to $6,000 per year in purchases (then 1x), and 1x points on other purchases.

That said — if you don’t frequently spend at U.S. supermarkets, you may be better off with a rewards card that offers an elevated rate in other popular spending categories, such as gas stations, dining or travel.
