What we like about the PNC Visa® Business Credit Card

  • Intro APR on balance transfers

The PNC Visa® Business Credit Card comes with an introductory 0% intro APR on balance transfers for 13 months, after which a 13.74% to 23.74% variable APR applies. After that, a 13.74% to 23.74% variable APR applies.

Note, there is a balance transfer fee of either $5 or 3% of the amount of each balance transfer, whichever is greater.

  • Annual fee

The PNC Visa® Business Credit Card charges a $0 annual fee.

  • Low possible ongoing APR

You can potentially qualify for a low ongoing APR on purchases of 13.74% to 23.74% variable.

What to watch out for with the PNC Visa® Business Credit Card

  • No rewards program

With the PNC Visa® Business Credit Card, you won’t earn a sign-up bonus or rewards for the purchases you make.

But when transferring a balance, it’s best to focus on paying off the transferred balance before the promotional period ends, rather than racking up rewards —which could potentially lead to more debt.

  • No intro APR on purchases

While the PNC Visa® Business Credit Card offers an intro APR on balance transfers, it does not offer one on purchases.

Therefore, if you plan to carry a balance on your card from purchases month over month, you will be subject to interest charges at an APR of 13.74% to 23.74% variable.

Is the PNC Visa® Business Credit Card right for you?

If you’re in the market for a business credit card that offers an interest-free period on balance transfers, the PNC Visa® Business Credit Card is a decent choice. But if you prefer a balance transfer credit card with a longer intro APR period, as well as an intro APR on purchases and cash back rewards, the U.S. Bank Business Triple Cash Rewards World Elite™ Mastercard® is a much better option.

That said, while the U.S. Bank Business Triple Cash Rewards World Elite™ Mastercard® offers one of the longest intro APRs on balance transfers currently available for a business credit card, know that it is possible to find a business credit card with an even longer intro APR period.

Also know, when completing a balance transfer, you cannot transfer debt between two cards from the same issuer. So, for example, if you have existing credit card debt from a PNC card, you cannot transfer it to the PNC Visa® Business Credit Card.
