Westfield car insurance discounts
Westfield’s rates are already low, and it offers a few car insurance discounts that could bring down your rate even more. These include discounts for:
- Bundling your car insurance with a homeowners policy
- Signing up for MissionSafe, its safe driving program
- Being a safe driver
- Getting a quote at least a day before your policy starts
- Being a loyal customer
Westfield offers two car and home insurance bundle options. Its basic WesPak package is available to most homeowners. Its deluxe WesPak Estate package is designed for wealthier customers.
Along with discounts, these packages include free coverage upgrades. For example, WesPak Estate gives you guaranteed replacement cost
MissionSafe uses a smartphone app to track your driving. You get an initial discount just for signing up. If you drive safely enough, you get another discount each time you renew. Westfield doesn’t raise your rate if its app detects bad driving.
Westfield car insurance coverage options
Westfield offers all the normal car insurance coverages like liability and collision, but not much else. It does offer gap insurance
If you only get car insurance from Westfield, you’ll pay extra for these add-ons. However, gap insurance is included for free in a WesPak home and auto bundle. The pricier WesPak Estate bundle comes with free roadside assistance.
Westfield’s standard car insurance coverages include:
| Coverage | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Liability | Injuries to others and damage to their property |
| Collision | Damage to your own car from a collision with another vehicle or object |
| Comprehensive | Your vehicle for theft or non-collision damage like fire, flood and vandalism |
| Uninsured motorist | You and your passengers for injuries caused by a driver with no insurance |
| Personal injury protection (PIP) | No-fault medical coverage for you and your passengers, plus lost wages and essential services |
| Medical payments (MedPay) | No fault medical coverage for you and your passengers |
However, Westfield does not offer some useful add-ons like:
-
Accident forgiveness
Protects you from a rate increase after your first at-fault accident.
-
Original equipment manufacturer
(OEM) parts coveragePays to replace damaged parts with factory originals, instead of after-market substitutes.
-
Diminishing deductible
Reduces your deductible at no extra cost for avoiding claims.
-
Pay-per-mile insurance
Uses the number of miles you drive to determine your rate.
Many other car insurance companies offer some or all of these features.

Home insurance discounts from Westfield
Along with already low rates, Westfield also offers home insurance discounts for:
- Bundling your home and auto policies in a WesPak or WesPak Estate package
- Being a loyal customer
- Getting an advanced quote
- Having protective devices and alarms in your home
How Westfield’s home insurance coverages work
Westfield offers the normal insurance protections for your home and belongings, plus a few extras.
All Westfield home insurance policies include increased replacement cost
Westfield also offers a half-dozen home insurance add-ons. Two are particularly noteworthy.
- Westfield’s inland flood endorsement covers flooding from events like rapid snowmelt and/or excessive rainfall. Standard homeowners insurance doesn’t cover flood damage. Depending on your flood risks, this add-on may be a better option for you than stand-alone flood insurance.
- Westfield’s service line coverage covers the cost of repairing or replacing an underground utility line. This can get particularly expensive if workers have to dig through concrete to get to a damaged water, gas or sewer line.
Like most other companies, Westfield’s basic coverages include:
- Dwelling coverage for your home
- Personal property coverage for your belongings
- Loss of use for temporary living expenses after a covered disaster
- Personal liability for injuries and damage to others
How to get insurance quotes from Westfield
Westfield is widely available through independent insurance agencies in these states:
- Illinois
- Indiana
- Iowa
- Kentucky
- Ohio
- Michigan
- Minnesota
- Pennsylvania
- Tennessee
- West Virginia
You can find an authorized independent agent near you on Westfield’s website.
Most independent agents can get you quotes from a few different companies at once. This can make it easier to comparison shop.
However, an independent agent can’t get you quotes from companies with exclusive agents, like State Farm and Allstate. You have to contact these companies separately.
Methodology
LendingTree gets insurance rates from Quadrant Information Services using publicly sourced insurance company filings. Rates are based on an analysis of hundreds of thousands of auto and home insurance quotes for typical households. Prices are shown for comparative purposes only. Your own rates may be different.
Unless noted otherwise, car insurance quotes are for a full-coverage policy for a 30-year-old man with good credit, a clean driving record and a 2015 Honda Civic EX. Young driver rates are based on quotes for 18-year-old males with no prior accidents or violations.
Minimum liability policies provide liability coverage with the state’s required minimum limits.
Full-coverage policies include collision, comprehensive and liability coverage:
- Bodily injury liability: $50,000 per person, $100,000 per accident
- Property damage liability: $25,000
- Uninsured / underinsured motorist bodily injury: $50,000 per person and $100,000 per accident
- Personal injury protection: where required by law
- Collision: $500 deductible
- Comprehensive: $500 deductible
—
Home insurance rates are based on policies with:
- $400,000 dwelling coverage
- $40,000 other structures
- $200,000 personal property
- $80,000 loss of use coverage
- $100,000 liability
- $5,000 medical payments
- $1,000 deductible

Our team of insurance experts rated insurance companies based on several categories. These categories include average rates, discounts, coverage options, third-party customer service ratings and app/website experience. We weighted these categories based on what customers value in an insurance company.
For third-party customer service ratings, we included complaint index scores from the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) and financial strength ratings from AM Best. NAIC complaint index scores are used to determine how satisfied customers are with their claims, while financial strength ratings from AM Best reflect the ability to pay out claims.
