Methodology

To select the best PNC credit card, our credit card experts compared cards offered on PNC’s site and LendingTree.com, including cash back cards, low APR cards, travel cards and business cards.

We then chose our top pick for each category based on a variety of factors, like rewards rates, value of sign-up bonuses, 0% intro APR offers, annual fees and more. We also looked at the benefits offered by each card, such as purchase protection, travel insurances and account management tools.

Which PNC credit card is right for you?

Before deciding which PNC card is best for you, you should first determine how you plan to use the card. For example, if you want to earn a generous cash back rate on everyday purchases, like gas and groceries, the PNC Cash Rewards® Visa® Credit Card could be a good fit. But if you have a large amount of high-interest credit card debt that you’re struggling to pay down, a card with an intro APR on balance transfers, like the PNC Core® Visa® Credit Card, may be a better choice.
