The Amazon Business Prime American Express Card is designed for businesses that are Amazon Prime or Business Prime members that rely heavily on Amazon purchases and products.
The card offers a unique rewards program where business owners can get 5% cash back or 90-day financing term on U.S. purchases at Amazon Business, AWS, Amazon.com and Whole Foods Market on the first $120,000 in purchases per calendar year.
Meanwhile, the regular rewards rate is 2% back at U.S. restaurants, U.S. gas stations, and on wireless telephone services purchased directly from U.S. service providers, 1% on other purchases.
If your business has a fluctuating cash flow and sometimes carries a balance, this card provides both short- and long-term value with interest-free payment terms on select purchases that can allow you to pay for purchases over 90 days without accruing interest. That can be helpful during months when you may be unable to pay your bill by your due date. And, if your cash flow is doing OK, you can opt to earn rewards instead of using an interest-free payment term.
While there is a no annual fee, your business must be an Amazon Prime or Business Prime member ($139 and $69 a year, respectively).

With the Amazon Business Prime American Express Card, cardholders can reap 5% cash back (or spread out the cost interest-free over 90 days) on Amazon-affiliated purchases, including Amazon Business, AWS, Amazon.com and Whole Foods. That high rewards rate applies to the first $120,000 in purchases every calendar year, and then reverts to 1% cash back after meeting that cap.
The potential savings could run as high as $6,000 a year, provided you meet the $120,000 cap.
