Similar to the Chase Slate Edge℠, this card comes with a $0 annual fee, but also doesn’t offer a rewards program and charges foreign transaction fees.
Still, unlike the Chase Slate Edge℠, it doesn’t offer an introductory balance transfer fee. You’ll be responsible for paying 5%; min: $5 for each balance transfer. That 2% difference could significantly cut into your savings from a balance transfer. For example, if you transfer $5,000 to a card with a 3% fee, you’ll be charged $150. But if you transfer that same amount to a card with a 5% fee, the balance transfer will end up costing you $250.
