Who is the Marriott Bonvoy Boundless® Credit Card best for?

If you’re loyal to the Marriott Bonvoy™ brand and want to earn free hotel stays, you may want to look at the Marriott Bonvoy Boundless® Credit Card.

Marriott Bonvoy Boundless® Credit Card Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card

Is the Marriott Bonvoy Boundless® Credit Card right for you?

Before deciding between these two hotel credit cards, consider the following: the annual fees; the sign-up bonus/welcome offers; points per dollar spent in top spending categories; hotel elite status; free anniversary night; and travel and purchase perks.

Both cards come with elite status, but the perks that come with the Hilton Honors loyalty program are more robust. They also both have ways to transfer points to airline loyalty programs, but the Marriott Bonvoy Boundless® Credit Card offers a much better 3:1 rate.

If you’re still having trouble deciding between the two cards, the tiebreaker question is: Which hotel chain is most appealing to you? Or, if you’d rather not be tied to a specific hotel chain, then you may want to consider a travel rewards card where you can redeem points for a variety of hotel options, such as the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card ($95 annual fee) or the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card ($95 annual fee).
