Allison Williams is managing editor for autos and small business content at LendingTree, where she oversees the quality and accuracy of dozens of articles written by a team of two staff writers and freelance writers.
Allison served as senior editor at Business North Carolina magazine and before that, worked as an associate publisher, editor and reporter for other magazines and newspapers. She has received awards for her writing and editing from national organizations including the Alliance of Area Business Publishers and the Society for Features Journalism, in addition to regional awards from the North Carolina Press Association.

Helping readers understand their world, whether it’s how a Mt. Olive Pickle is made or how to navigate the next car or business loan, is what drives Allison’s work.
She graduated from the Honors College at the University of South Carolina with a bachelor’s in journalism. She more recently earned a digital marketing nanodegree through Udacity.
